RGB MusicLab is created by digital artist Kenji Kojima.  He created a application that converts RGB values of an image to chromatic scale sounds.  It reads the RGB values of each pixels from the top left to the bottom right of an image.  One pixel makes a harmony of three note of RGB values, and the length of the notes are determined by the brightness of the pixel.  Pure black (R=0, G=0, B=0), produces no sound.

Kenji Kojima made his application free to download for all.  You can follow this link here to check out some samples the artist did with the Mona Lisa.
