In 7 days INSA ran the city of east London, painting 35 pieces on route of Charlie Dark’s map for The IAM1 Journey Nike Sportswear project. Produced by Protein and documented by INSA’s long time collaborator, photographer Ethel, each of the 35 hand painted pieces form one of the centre pieces of INSAs major London solo show for 2009. This IAM1 Journey animation will be deconstructed within the “Looking For Love In All The Wrong Places” show with behind-the-scenes processes alongside the original painted objects that make up the individual frames.
The new Air Maxim 1 from Nike Sportswear features an infusion of modern Nike technology, Flywire-laced upper with Phylon midsole and Transpan toebox. The best part is that the sneaker looks very similar to the OG Air Max 1, one of my favourite Nike silhouettes. (more…)
Singapore based sneaker boutique Limited Edt has collaborated with New Balance to produce Singapore’s first ever collaboration between a local sneaker boutique and a major sporting goods company. The Made in England New Balance 577 BBL has been made in a limited run of only 140 pairs worldwide. The shoes are individually numbered from 1 to 140. This collaboration is to mark the 5 years anniversary of Limited Edt since they started out in 2003 as the first sneaker boutique of its kind in Singapore. (more…)
